About

Yasha joined Athlaw in 2016 as the third attorney at the firm and was quickly promoted to partner the following year, now serving as Managing Partner.

He specializes in federal ERISA law, NFL disability benefits, and the NFL Concussion Settlement, bringing a direct, results-oriented approach to client advocacy. Understanding that retired athletes prefer straightforward communication, Yasha has built a reputation for earning the trust of clients whose careers have conditioned them to be skeptical of others. With a focus on calculated efficiency, he ensures that each client receives clear, strategic guidance to achieve the best possible outcome. Beyond his legal work, he plays a key role in overseeing the firm’s business strategy, operations, and legal team, ensuring that Athlaw continues to grow while delivering exceptional client service. He also oversees the firm’s associate attorneys and law clerks, guiding the next generation of legal professionals.

Born and raised in Los Angeles, Yasha is a passionate F1 and car enthusiast, soccer fan, and traveler.
